Dr Chantal Templeton, Director of Sol Chiropractic & Wellbeing, is an experienced practitioner who has worked in Sydney, Toowoomba, Hervey Bay and Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
Chantal studied chiropractic at Macquarie University in Sydney, completing a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic. She also studied Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Applied Kinesiology (AK), Total Body Modification (TBM) and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET). These modalities combined with her chiropractic care make her unique in her field and known in her industry.
Chantal’s own chiropractic journey started when she was 7 years old. Growing up under chiropractic care inspired her interest in learning how the body works. It fostered her passion for wellbeing, nutrition and movement.
Known for her empathy, Chantal is a caring practitioner with a sunny personality. She is experienced in dealing with many different conditions, including acute injuries, chronic issues, sympathetic/ parasympathetic (stress response) regulation and general body maintenance. In her approach to care, Chantal strongly believes in finding the underlying causes of problems and fixing issues at their root. Often, she finds that going ‘back to basics’ takes care of many ailments.
Chantal is different from others in her industry through her extraordinary ability to look after her patient’s emotional (as well as physical health). With an array of modalities to choose from in her tool kit, her innate empathy and understanding is highly regarded by her patients. They often find that they do not even have to explain what it is that they are feeling. Chantal says, “It is a privilege and an honour to create a safe space and to assist my patients.” She loves to provide a nurturing environment and hopes that every patient leaves her clinic feeling revitalised, invigorated, and ready for life.
Chantal has a special interest in kids and pregnancy care but loves seeing patients of all ages. As her mother was a doula and birth photographer, she has been around pregnant women and babies ever since she can remember. She also has had the honour of being present at the births of both of her younger sisters (her youngest sister is 13 years her junior). Chantal has completed many hours of continual professional development to widen her knowledge around birth, pregnancy and children’s care and can assist with a range of concerns in these areas. The continuity of care that can help families throughout all seasons of their life is something Chantal holds dear.
Patients of Chantal’s remark that her practice “feels like being welcomed home. It is a safe space to come back into yourself and leave feeling empowered to live your best life.” It’s where patients can take time out for themselves physically, mentally and emotionally.
When she is not looking after her patients, Chantal enjoys playing music, cooking, yoga and looking after her garden. Chantal started Sol Chiropractic with the vision to inspire patients to enjoy life to its fullest. She aims to motivate patients to take charge of their health and wellbeing and live life with vitality.
